KBB TV Episode 10 - Series 1
The focus this week is on growing your business.
In segment 1, Kochie meets Adriano Zumbo, a patissier experiencing great success with his amazing range of cakes and breads. Adriano has been operating on his own for 18 months and currently has a small retail outlet and supplies to a number of restaurants and cafes. The feedback he has been receiving has been amazing so he now wants to expand the business. Kochie then meets with our second business owner, Leanne Carter-Taylor. Leanne owns a giftware and high-end fashion brand, duckeggBLUE. With two concept stores already open, Leanne is keen to expand further but is already having trouble spreading herself across the two stores. We send in Linda Hailey to help.
In segment 2, Linda encourges Leanne to define her new role in the business as it expands - the first step is to use job descriptions. We also send in Dr Adam Fraser, a work/life balance and performance expert, to help Adriano Zumbo manage his time and work more effectively.
In segment 3, Dr Adam Fraser suggests ways for Adriano to get more balance between his work and personal life. He also gives Adriano some tips to help him relax more. In this week's Technology Building Block, Pete Blasina demonstrates how WhereIs Navigator can help you find your way when you're in an unfamiliar location.
In the final segment, we meet plumber Craig Dennis to find out how he's using his PDA to make his business more efficient.
In the next episode, we take Leanne to meet successful entrepreneur Pierce Cody, co-owner of Australia's largest independent organic store Macro Wholefoods, and Adriano gets a financial work-out from finance expert Matthew Nolan from Provident Cashflow.
