In this episode, we meet Matt and Karen Ward from Honest to Goodness - a natural and organic food distribution business.
Matt and Karen are interested in moving into retail distribution of their organic and natural nuts and pulses range but aren't sure how to distinguish between thier natural range and their organic range. We send in Tim Pethick, the founder of Nudie Juice, to give them some suggestions on building a retail brand.
In segment 2, Tim suggests that to develop a strong brand, they should use a good design agency. He gives Matt and Karen some suggestions on how they should do this. Another issue they're facing is with their search engine ranking. To give them some suggestions on how they might improve their ranking, we sent in Aidan Beanland, a search engine optimisation expert from Yahoo!7.
In segment 3, Aidan explains the importance of link popularity to search engines and gives a couple of quick tips on how you can check who's linking to your site and which pages the site engines are picking up. Meanwhile, Kochie takes another trip to Canberra and meets with Erin Holland, Deputy Commissioner of the Tax Office, to find out more about the recent changes to superannuation from an employer and self-employed perspective.
